'Koi' Original Oil Painting

This piece was born from a melodramatic moment of flow. I felt drawn to rich textures and the contrast of gold on a glossy black. The movement draws the eye through the painting as the viewer sees any number of images. My first thought was of a koi fish - so that's what I named it. What do you see?
