'Gilded Skull' Hand-Leafed Print

The skull can represent a lot of (often conflicting) themes. This piece, however, was created with the intentions of protection and power, with an awareness of our own mortality in mind.

This painting is intentionally and specifically a female human skull. While I struggle to explain exactly why I feel it is so significant, it felt important to make that distinction and have that representation within this piece.

My gilded prints are always leafed by hand on the finest quality paper.
